Christmas morning and my kids were sleeping in. It was amazing. Usually they wake me up at 5 am to open presents.
Shame on me for leaving my phone on and by my bed. At 732 am I got a buzz notification from Logan optical because they sent me a text.
I proceeded to get 4 text messages from companies throughout the day. I replied STOP to all of them.
The worst part of it all is that only 1 of the 4 of them mentioned Christmas.
I’ve worked with sms marketing in the past and notifications. You can pause all sending on big holidays. Yes even the notifications like to scheduled an appointment.
not sure why it ticked me off so much. I’m just sick of all the texts and scam calls I get each day.
I’ve got a 7 hour drive to Arizona so I’ll get back to anyone that has complaints about sms marketing in the comments when I get there. lol.

Now that election is over, I don't mind the text messages so much. They are usually things I need to be reminded about anyway. Have a safe trip!
True. Election was rough as well.
That would be annoying, how rude of any company to send out text message on Christmas number one, but before eight AM is just plain wrong. I hope you had a safe drive down to AZ!
