Unexpected end

As the machines around me whirred, I felt my consciousness begin to slip away. The principles of quantum physics that I knew so well seemed to come alive, revealing a deeper and more fascinating reality.

I remember how Everett's ‘many worlds’ theory had taken hold of my mind, the idea that every choice and every event generated a bifurcation in reality, creating parallel universes that co-existed.

Now, as I lay in that hospital bed, I felt my mind begin to expand beyond the confines of my physical body.

It was as if my consciousness was oscillating between different versions of myself, each with its own trajectory. I sensed echoes of other lives, other endings, other beginnings.

Death was no longer seen as a definitive event, but as a portal through which my being dispersed, fragmenting into multiple existences.

At that moment, I realised that reality was more fluid and malleable than I had ever imagined.

Consciousness was not limited to the body, but was a force that extended beyond the confines of matter.

I took a deep breath, accepting the possibility that my life had no end, but a continuity in a cosmic fabric that defied conventional notions of time and existence.
