INEQUALITY (POEM)

Inequality, a sickness of our time,
A wound that cuts across the human line.
It separates the rich from the poor,
Leaves some with nothing, while others have more.

In every corner of this great earth,
People suffer, their value seen as worth
Less than others, because of skin or birth.
It's a cruel system, with no equal girth.

The divide grows wider, day by day,
As the wealthy hoard wealth, taking it away.
From the people who work hard, but still can't make ends meet,
While the rich live in luxury, with their feet in the heat.

But it doesn't have to be this way,
We can choose to change it, come what may.
By fighting for justice, for all to share,
And tearing down the walls of unfairness, with love and care.

So let us stand together, hand in hand,
And work towards a world that's truly grand.
Where equality reigns, and all are free,
And every person has the chance to be all they can be.
