Sagaing Hill is a shrine mountain which is built many Buddhist temples, Pagodas, monasteries and nunneries.
If you want to see the scenery of Sagaing Mountain and Sagaing City from above, you can visit the Soum Oo Pon Nya Shin Pagoda in Shwe Pha Taung.
If you look east from Soum Oo Poanya Shin Pagoda, you can see the Irrawaddy River.
Facing southeast, you will see the Irrawaddy River Bridge, the Yadanarbon Bridge and the Sagaing Bridge.
If you look to the south, you will see the city of Sagaing surrounded by the Irrawaddy River.
From there, head west to the Kaung Mu Taw Pagoda on the outskirts of Sagaing and the Pagodas and monasteries at the foot of Sagaing Hill.
If you look at the four sides of the pagoda, you will inevitably see only pagodas.
That is why the old people used to say that they go to Sagaing to seek Dhamma.

အရှေ့တောင်အရပ်ဆီသို့ မျက်နှာမူလိုက်ပါလျှင် ဧရာဝတီမြစ်ကူးတံတားကြီးများ ဖြစ်သော ရတနာပုံတံတားကြီး နှင့် စစ်ကိုင်းတံတားကြီး နှစ်စင်းကို တွေ့မြင်ရမှာပါ။
ထိုမှ တောင်ဘက်အရပ်သို့ ကြည့်ရှုပါလျှင် စစ်ကိုင်းမြို့ပြ ကို ဧရာဝတီမြစ် ဝန်းရံပတ်ထားသည်ကို ရှုစားရမှာပါ။
ထိုမှ အနောက်ရပ်ဆီသို့ ဦးတည်လိုက်လျှင်တော့ စစ်ကိုင်းမြို့စွန်က ကောင်းမှုတော်ဘုရားကြီး နှင့် စစ်ကိုင်းတောင် ခြေရင်းက စေတီဘုရား၊ ဘုန်းကြီးကျောင်းများကို တွေ့မြင်ရပါမည်။
ဆွမ်းဦးပုညရှင်စေတီတော် မှ အရပ်လေးမျက်နှာကို ကြည့်ရှုပါလျှင် မလွဲမသွေ တွေ့မြင်ရမှာက စေတီဘုရားများသာ ဖြစ်ပါသည်။
သို့ဖြစ်၍ ရှေးလူကြီးများက စစ်ကိုင်းတောင်ကို အရောက်သွားကာ တရားရှာမလေ ဟု ဆိုတတ်ကြခြင်း ဖြစ်ပေမည်။
