We can't do what we want all the time. Many times we have to adjust, we have to chancel and change our plan. Because many things hold us back. It can be our family member's emotion or financial expectation, it can be your loved one or your own emotions. You will notice how it leads to change your goals.
I believe it's totally okay to have something which holds us back. Otherwise, we wouldn't be a social being. But the pressure it creates, the mental stress, the guilty feeling, the blaming we go through just because of the factors kill us gradually. So why not see the whole perspective from a different angle?

People, things, factors hold us back for a thousand reasons. We always can't choose to get rid of them and make our life alone. I always believe it's better to accept. Accept life, accept the struggle, accept the reality. Accept and be with it. Make sure to not feel guilty about it, blame yourself or others for it. Remember, as we living with that condition it's better to take it positively.
If you have to drop from college to work part time to support your family. Feel proud that you are doing this. Don't fight in your brain to make this move. Don't blame your family or fortune that you can't have a life like others. Remember, we all have different struggles. So it's better to accept it and make the fullest out of it.
Moreover, we can always choose to do better in many ways. We can make a different plan and be successful. But the negative feeling which arises by thinking something is holding us back and making a barrier in our life is really harmful. Better change the way you see life and I think it would be easier to be happy!
