Afternoon peeps! You know what's going on on HIVE, there has been a lot of buzz regarding Justin boy and his malicious ways. this time around he decided to seize the funds of 60 so Hivers. A lot of crazy stuff has been happening in the last Two days. Ten minutes before steem's hardfork 23 an account under the name of community321 which allegedly was supposed to seize the funds, did the miracle and transfered all the seized funds to Bittrex with a memo saying "stealing is bad". After some tense hours where hivers (myself included) took Twitter and main social media, to make fun of Justin whith tons of memes and "friendly" messages towards the aforementioned antagonist. It surely was a great time until Bittrex news arrived.
In their official statement, Bittrex pretty much washed their hands by alleging they are going to go through Blockchain rules and respect the witnesses consensus regardless how sneaky they were. Bottom line is that they are planning to return the funds to community321 provided identity confirmation and ownership. It's suffice to say that the person behind the statement clearly, at least in spirit, is with us. Yet the results are remain to be seen...
This is a video I recorded a couple of months ago when the steemtakeover was taking course. I'm sharing this video again because the message on it, fits the situation we are currently facing. We (we are a team on this account) used to support the Tron blockchain especially after it's acquisition of BitTorrent and after being a loyal supporter of its technology for over 16 years (legally and grey areas) leading up unto the time of purchase after NEO's $170 million dollar offer was turned down. Mainnet launched and they went from ERC20 to TRC20/10 and everything seemed to be going well I mean what could go wrong right? Fast forward past the Tesla Model S scheme, the false partnership lies, The destruction of the BitTorrent Token before it even got to properly launch and heck I even forgave him for standing up Warren Buffet for lunch because in the back of my mind I remember saying to myself "There is a plan.. I mean he MUST be really smart because the only other option is that he is REALLY STUPID"... Whelp then he was found drinking with some friends where he outright on camera called the TRX a S-Coin and I remember copying/pasting and selling like I just made a bad leverage trade and was trying find funds to avoid liquidation! I just wanted my money back because he has imo what could be considered to be the Crypto-Equivalent of the "Touch of Death". I have not seen him get involved in anything that has not turned into complete garbage once his involvement was officially made known. For someone in his 30's you would think deducting 20 years from his age is more appropriate by his decision making skills and once I heard the news that he had acquired STEEMIT Inc. I knew there was nothing but bad times ahead. I cannot begin to explain how awesome it was to follow the response that the community threw back at him when he had the audacity to believe that he had bought not only steemit but also the people on it as well. HIVE is a true example of what EVERY social outlet should strive to become and I believe that before this is all said and done it will serve as a well-drafted road map for those that are yet to come if they want to have a real community who occupies them and not just zombies who feed on likes. I agree with you that these are exciting times (for lack of a better word) and the best is yet to come but also that the sheer fact that I am posting this message on the HIVE Platform says alot about this community in itself! In the words of someone much better than I "Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's"... I do not think it will help him much in the end but that is just my personal opinion. He has ruined himself more than any or all of us could have all on his own and his childish antics will ultimately be his downfall. ^ ^
He let his ego overcome the ratio. Once you let that happen you're fucked, especially in the world of business. I guess he has small dick that needs to be compensated with power.
