Greetings from me. I hope you're all doing well and have the energy to face life's challenges. Today, I'm taking you to another amazing dam in Sri Lanka.

The Maduru Oya Dam is an irrigation dam built over the Maduru Oya near Kadirapura, Bandanagala, in Sri Lanka's Eastern Province. It forms the Maduru Oya Reservoir, which has a 453-square-kilometer catchment area. The Maduru Oya Solar Power Station will be built on top of the Maduru Oya Reservoir's surface. It is owned by Sri Lanka's Mahaweli Authority. The Maduru Oya Dam is also close to the Maduru Oya National Park. To reach the Maduru Oya Dam in Kadirapura, Bandanagala, go roughly 51.8 kilometers via the Manampitiya-Aralaganwila-Maduru Oya Road, passing through Aralaganwila.
