Bought Two New Docs

After successfully raising five chickens, I decided to buy two docs. The chickens, healthy and well-cared-for, have started laying eggs, providing a steady supply. Their eggs are fresh and nutritious. I’m excited to see how the docks will contribute to the farm. It’s been rewarding to watch the flock grow and thrive.

Caring for docs isn’t easy. I’ve faced challenges with diseases like diarrhea, flu and Newcastle disease. It requires constant attention and quick action to keep them healthy. I always stay vigilant, ensuring they have proper care and protection from these common threats.

Getting 4 to 5 eggs every day from my chickens is a wonderful bonus. It’s always fun picking them up in the morning. I enjoy consuming the fresh eggs, which not only taste great but also help me save money. Raising chickens has become both rewarding and practical for my daily needs.

According to my son, chickens are like toys. He believes they’re fun to play with, just like any other toy. He loves watching them move around, imagining they’re his playful, feathery companions.

My son enjoys chickens just as much as I do. He loves watching them and learning about their care. Through observing how I treat the chickens, he’s picked up valuable lessons on breeding and raising them. It’s heartwarming to see him take an interest in this process, learning responsibility and patience. I make sure to involve him in daily tasks, so he understands the effort involved in keeping the chickens healthy and productive. It’s a great bonding experience. Here are my chickens.
