I can imagine why anyone would go to all the trouble of creating fake accounts just for a few pennies. I think you stand to make so much more by creating and curating daily. It just amazes me to see things like this and how people are always looking to take a short cut.

It is not pennies, most of the well written introduce yourself post get payment excess of $20. Does it not sound easy introduce yourself daily?
May this one of the reason we have lot more accounts and very less active.
I still wonder how people come up with so good "introduce yourself" post when they know no one here. No one guiding them and they brilliantly figured out the tags and what to post in first post.
OK didn't realize they made so much on a post, it's truly messed up that these people are going to ruin it for everyone.
Yes the spammers have a good sense of writing fake introduce yourself posts and almost daily. It is a good way to earn good income for posts.
Ya like @r1s2g3 mentioned, some of the posts even get more than 40$ vote value. So this is a serious issue for the chain. Every single day many fake accounts are created just to farm introduceyourself tag.
