Sleep deprivation is a common problem that affects millions of people all around the world.It happens when an individual fails to get enoughsleep,which leads to various negative effects on their physical and mental health.The main cause of this(sleepl deprivation)is,working schedules,medical conditions...amongst others.
When we don't get enough sleep,our bodies and brains tend not to function properly.Sleep has always play a very major role both physically and mentally and being deprived of it(sleep)can lead to,mood swings,malfunctions, weak immune system amongst others.
One of the effects of sleep deprivation it its impact on the brain function,when we are tired,we wont be able to think welll,we won't be able to make good decisions nor able to express self..,we struggle to concentrate,we can't pay attention,we hardly recall or emember things,which will affect our performances at work or school,this would long last lead to poor/low grades.
Sleep deprivation has been linked health conditions (obesity,diabetes.....etc)when we don't get enough sleep our body becomes overused and stressed.This(dleep deprivation)can also weaken our immune system,thereby making us more prone to disease/illnesses
Sleep deprivation also can affect our relationships and daily lives,when we become tired,we tend to get sngry easily of even become withdrawn,we have issue interacting well with others which can lead to misunderstandings.
Also,sleep deprivation can impact on our mental health,sleep deprivation can cause an increased risk of developing mental health disorder which can leading to a decline in mental health and overall wellbeing.When we dont have enough time to rest and sleep, we get wornout,burnout,stressed,wrinkled faced...and a lot.
It is important to prioritize sleep and make it a vital part of our daily lives,at least a 7-9 hours of sleep each night.Even though situations of things isn't helping and can see such a person who sleeps that much as lazy and unserious,we should remember that health is wealth,sleep deprivation can have it's toll on our health.
Lastly,sleep deprivation is a serious issue that can have its toll on our physical and mental health.It is very important to prioritize sleep and make it an essential part of our live,doing so we can improve our mood,brain function and our overall well-being.
