Currently, I don't have much work pressure. I spend my free time idle and if not, I chat with my parents. I think about the old days in my free time. How many kinds of memories are there in a person's life! Isn't it?
It's winter in our country now. How many kinds of memories are associated with this time of winter! This evening, I was telling various stories about the winter days when I went to school with my parents. As soon as I remembered that time, I realized that these small memories of life are one of the powers that keep us alive.
On those winter days, I felt lazy as soon as I woke up in the morning. My mother would call me again and again, but it seemed impossible to get out of the warmth of the bed blanket. Still, when my mother would bring me hot tea, my heart would be filled with a strange warm feeling. My hands would freeze while walking through the fog on the way to school.
Today, when I was sharing these memories with my parents, I realized how many stories they also have! My father was saying that in their time, winter meant the festival of date juice and pitha. Mother said that in her childhood, winter meant memories of sitting in the kitchen with Dida and making new pithas. After listening to these stories, I realized one thing—every moment of our life, every small memory, one day becomes the foundation of our existence.
Many things come into a person's life. People change with time, relationships change. But memories remain forever. Those fun moments of childhood, happy times spent with family, school days with friends—all these make the story of our life colorful.
This power of memory gives us courage in difficult times of life. When we feel alone, these memories calm our minds. We may not realize it, but the small moments of each day become our memories. The stories that we are sharing today, one day these stories will leave a mark of our existence in the minds of our loved ones.
Therefore, every moment should be enjoyed. Small things should be given importance. Spending time with parents, talking to loved ones, or just spending a little more time under the warmth of a blanket on a winter morning—these become the best moments in life. The stories of life are actually captured in memories. After talking about winter memories with my parents this evening, I realized that these small moments are the real wealth of our lives.Bold
