There lived a girl named Nwadiwe meaning she cussed her father's bitterness. Nwadiwe was 8 years old when her mother died, her late mother told his father to take care of her very well but the father did the contrary.
One day when Nwadiwe was 8 years old, her father didn't give her food because she was among one dancing team which she followed to dancing competition of one old man's traditional retirement. She tried to ask her father the cause of him not keeping food for her when she is fully aware that there was food at home, his father overreacted and floggedd her mercilessly to the extent that she develops fever after the incident. Her father even go to the extent of getting her dancing costume burnts.
Nwadiwe was a very hard-working girl. she always finishes her house just before 7:15 a.m. and still dress to school early.
Nwadiwe always fetch water whenever she comes back from school every day. She wasn't bright in school activities because of her workload at home. Her father hated her so much that he doesn't care whether she's hurt, comes back home or not.*
Nwadiwe's school fees is due for renewal so she informed her father about it but her father shows no concern not that he don't have the money but because he hated her so much.
Nwadiwe who was a very hard-working girl decided to fetch water for building sites guys so that she can actually get the money for her school fees. When her father realised that which is her plans of getting money for her fees, he poured away all the water she fetched in their water reservoir at home. When she came back from sites to shower at home, she couldn't find a drop of water. She asked her father why he poured away all the water she fetched before going to the site but her father said it is because he don't want her to go to the building site where group of guys are so that she won't get impregnated. Mr Nduka never supported his daughter's education so his friend took it as as his responsibility.
*One-day, Nwadiwe's father sent her to farm to do some weeding for the crops, she was bitten by a snake in the farm so she started shouting for help but no one come to her rescue because she was at the outskirt of the village. She drag herself to the mainroad where she was finally rescued by her dancing mistress Ifeoma. Miss Ifeoma took her to a nearby pharmacy for a first aid. After the first aid, Miss Ifeoma took her to her father but her father rejected her so she now take her to her house where she stayed for the period of two weeks. Nwadiwe's best friend Amaka came to the dancing mistress house to return her costume, she was amazed to see her best friend in such a critical condition so she went to her father and informed him about his best friend's daughter's condition. Amaka's father Mr ike quickly ran to Miss Ifeoma's house and took Nwadiwe to the to the hospital. Reaching the hospital, the doctor confirmed her pale and said she needs to be transfused so Mr Ike went to his friend's house to informed him about his daughter's critical condition. Reaching there, his friend was celebrating thinking that his daughter is dead but Mr Ike told him something contrary to what he wanted to hear. He told him that his daughter needs to be transfused, he now responded saying that he can't donate blood for Nwadiwe because she wasn't her daughter. his best friend asked him the meaning of what he was saying, he became downhearted and started shedding tears.*
He now did the flash back on his wedding night. He started narrating the incident that happened on their wedding night with his late wife to his friend. He told his best friend that he married his wife as a virgin so after their wedding, burglars entered their house at their wedding night and raped his wife without stealing any of their property. After that, they forced him to make love to his wife which he did. So one week after the incident, his late wife found out that she was pregnant so she informed her husband about it which he told her to abort the baby but she refused. So they kept the pregnancy till due time. his wife died during delivery of the baby so he named him named her Nwadiwe meaning her father's bitterness because his late wife died during her birth process and she's equally a product of rape. That was the reason why he hated her so much. Mr Ike was shocked after hearing his friends sad story, so he consoled and comforted his friend.
Both left to the blood bank to buy blood that will be transfused to his daughter and on their way to the blood bank, Mr Nduka saw the thief that raped his wife and showed him to his best friend. He shouted what a coincidence! so they called the police and got him arrested.
The policemen took him to the hospital to donate blood to Nwadiwe so that they can be able to save her life. After running all the necessary tests needed, the doctor found out that Nwadiwe wasn't a product of the thief so they now run the tests on her father they found out that her blood group and that of her father matched. So her father donated blood for her transfusion in other to save her life first. The doctor suggested a DNA test to confirm whose daughter is Nwadiwe. Mr Nduka paid for the DNA test that was going to be carried on Nwadiwe. The doctor run the test father not decided to run a DNA test . After the DNA test, it was confirmed that Nwadiwe is the daughter of Mr Nduka. He was shocked seeing DNA test result.
After that, he begged his daughter for forgiveness. So Nwadiwe forgave her father and they became one happy family. Her father now changed her name from Nwadiwe to Nkasiobi meaning "Jehovah has consoled and comforted me using you". He now begin to take care of her very well as his own daughter and loved and cherished her.

Love you guys all
In life we shouldn't let the past decide our future. What if Nwadiwe had died this is how Mr Nduka would have lost a treasure.
On the thieves side he remained miserable for the rest of his life for stealing other people's joy
