Hello beautiful people. Groundwork is the processes involved in preparation for an upcoming event or activity, it's a period between conception of an idea and the kick start. The waiting stage is famously called the ground work or fundamental stage of activities. It is the groundwork stage that makes way for the speed stage you desire.
The waiting stage for groundwork is not a time to be IDLE. Read that again and let it sink in. It's not called groundwork for child's play, you will WORK but that work is in PREPARATION for the speed stage.
The speed stage can also be called the SCALABILITY STAGE which simply means a stage where you expand your activities in different dimensions and move beyond your current level, area, geography etc.
Work while you wait.
It means that is the time to gather resource, gather knowledge, wisdom, clarity, intelligence, technology.
For example:
Conduct research, find out things with your spare time, watch YouTube videos (this is so key, you can learn almost anything on YouTube - good and bad), just type what you want to learn and watch as many videos as you can.
The GROUNDWORK stage is where you develop 2 key character traits.
- The can-do attitude.
- The commitment to finishing tasks.
Both are important:
Number 1. will help you to start anything and everything, and
Number 2. will help you to finish whatever you start.
Take this secret: Whatever will take you less than 5 minutes to do, pause everything & DO IT IMMEDIATELY Don't procrastinate. You can multi-task when you will not be at risk, and if you are driving, you can park and make your call or text. So, I already gave an example of waiting on business by planning, learning many things about it. Etc.
What of marriage?
Do you know it needs groundwork?

Being patient and discerning when considering such a lifelong commitment is not a joke, you need to prioritize long term joy, happiness over your feelings. Take your time before saying I do; we will congratulate you and wish you well. A broken relationship of 10 years is better than a tolerated marriage of even 1 month. It will be like the world is crushing you especially if you are the type who loves and invests all into it.
Why not take time to get to know the person, assess compatibility, values, goals, evaluate trust, respect, support, check for abuse, emotional stability, mental health, financial capability, orientation about life and family core beliefs. That 1 year you need wait and do the groundwork may help you enjoy the rest of your life.
How about building companies? Large organizations?
How about scaling that your small business into a conglomerate? If you want to build a company, or an organization, your waiting time is time to build some structure, plan out 5, 10, 20 years in future, do a lot of analysis, build a strong foundation and gather some team members that will be your infrastructure. Look at some examples that have not only scaled their business to a national level but made it even international. For a big organization, it must work like a living organism and that means you need teams.
For the examples I just gave, they have teams such as:
Music teams, media teams (videography, photography, graphic designs, audiographer, mixers, sound managers), ushering teams, property management teams, wardrobe teams, time moderator teams, social media teams, sponsor team, Volunteer teams, drivers’ team, cleaners team, decoration team, logistics team.
Then they have teams of supervisors to oversee the entire project.
And so on.
For the groundwork, you can start, only you can do one or two things.
Learn as much as you can but you see, once you are scaling, it will be too much for only you to do.

Some people have used their private parts to get jobs and used it to maintain job until the private part is now a spare part. If it means fighting your way to the top please do, because no future without a fight, fight your way out of that ground level, so you can see space to spread your wings and soar.
