Hello everyone,
It's an amazing day filled with happiness and positivity.
It's often said that "a patient dog eats the fastest bone".
Patience is a virtue that most times is very rare, it's quite easy to take actions or decisions concerning whatever we want concerning issues in our lives, though its good, but mostly rushing to take decisions oftentimes brings regret, though with that we fail to understand that every decision taken has its consequences either good or bad, most time when these things happens we fail to take responsibilities of their results, though I'm also a victim of this attitude.
Impatience oftentimes is good and at the same time very dangerous, and this has become a major problem in our society today, where many have ended up regretting their actions, some life gives them a second chance and others live in guilt throughout their lifetime, while others can't face themselves, they fall into depression, or suicide.
Dealing with impatience is a common challenge that many of us face, especially in today's fast-paced world where we're constantly bombarded with instant gratification and high expectations, though impatience is spurred up by many factors, and it's also manifested in various ways, like a feeling of frustration, anxiousness, or restlessness, and this happens when things don't happen quickly enough or when we're faced with delays or obstacles, or not going according to plan that feeling of restlessness or agitation is starred up, and being impatient can sometimes serve as a motivator to get things done, though some can cause a serious negative consequences on our lives.
Thus, impatience can have profound negative effects in our lives in many ways; such as, limiting growth, creativity, bad decisions also limit opportunities and causes regret as earlier stated. However, recognizing the potential downsides of impatience and practicing patience and mindfulness, we can avoid these negative impacts and achieve tremendous success and happiness, we should remember that the most significant rewards come to those willing to wait for them, whatever we want is worth waiting for, and having the best results is our daily expectations. And we can work on our impatience by recognizing our feelings, practicing mindfulness, reframing our thinking, as well as managing stress e.t.c.
Impatience stems from unrealistic expectations, and we ought to learn to accept uncertainty, when things don't go as planned, we ought to learn to and have trust in ourselves that everything will work out in the end.
Working in our impatience is a process that takes time, effort, and practice, and it's achieved by being patient kind, and gentle with ourselves when we feel impatient, thus, it's okay to feel frustrated or overwhelmed.
