Humans sometimes forget that the lives they live were given to them by God, and they try to live it without putting God first, without asking the owner of their life how to live the life He has given them. There's one thing I know for sure: God loves us, and He wants to be in our lives. The way some people talk about their hardships, when narrating, you won't even see them mention God or their trust in Him.
If you think God will just come into your life without you calling Him, then you must be joking. That's when you'll know God loves us and respects us. He won't just barge into your life; all He's waiting for is for you to call Him into your life, as the scriptures say: 'Ask, and it shall be given unto you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.'
So whatever has happened in the past, let it be there, and look forward to a better future. Also, learn from your past mistakes. Don't forget, God is with you and in you, so put Him in everything that concerns you and your life, no matter how little you think it is. God wants to be there.
Brilliant. In-depth and absolutely wonderful. You nailed it...God respects us wishes and He wants us to desire Him. God is for us and He's ever ready to attend to us when we allow Him. I am grateful for the past year and I am grateful for how the year started. I know this year will turn out well for me and my loved ones and I wish you the same too.
