Love is a strange thing. Some people run around desperately to find it, while others lose it even after finding it. Even when I'm an adult, I don't have that much emotion around love. I'm worried about my life and I have a long way to go. I have been a very disciplined person since childhood and have always tried to keep myself away from this thing called love.
When I got admitted to Engineering college, my closest friend was Subrata. He was from a different religion, but I loved him like my own brother. While I'm busy with my studies, he's falling head over heels in love with a girl. But his love was completely exclusive because the girl didn't love him. Because he's not very handsome.
One day, my friend got really annoyed with that girl and requested me to talk to her and convince her to fall in love with him. I turned him down straight away because I didn't have enough time to do all this. My friend got frustrated at one point and made a very bad decision. He gets addicted to drugs and starts smoking a lot, it's like he can't live without that girl. I reluctantly agreed to help Subrata.
Since the girl's home was far away, the only way to contact her was by mobile phone. After my friend gave me his phone number, I tried to talk to her. When the girl heard my voice and knew who I was, she agreed to talk to me. Believe me, my only purpose in talking to that girl is to convince her to love my friend.
At first, I tried to be a friend without directly telling her my friend loves her. Because I knew that if I told her directly, she would likely reject him. I didn't have much time to talk to the girl, I was just trying to find out about her. After talking to her for a few days, the girl became desperate to talk to me, which I really never expected. On the fifth day, the girl indirectly told me that she liked me. But I ignore it and continue to praise my friend. But I was really surprised that the girl was not ready to listen to my friend at all.
I told the girl directly about my friend's love but she made it clear that she loved me. I was disappointed and really fell from the sky. I didn't say anything to her that would make her love me. I asked her directly, "How well do you know me and do you know that you want to love me?" She said he fell in love with me because of my beautiful speaking style and beautiful mindset. I tried not to get angry and convince her that my friend loved her more than life and would keep her happy. Besides, I tried to explain it to her in various ways, but she didn't want to understand at all.
I kept thinking how to return my friend's love? Besides, the girl has fallen in love with me, so all in all, it's a bit of a strange situation. I planned and invited her and my friend to a park. The day was February 14, Valentine's Day. The girl knows that my favorite color is blue, so she came wearing a beautiful blue dress. I was wearing a very simple T-shirt and my friend came wearing a very nice Punjabi and holding flowers. Surprisingly, the girl also had red rose in her hand. When the three of us came face to face, I saw that the girl was truly beautiful. My friend is staring at the girl 😂
When my friend Subrata went to propose to her with flowers, the girl approached me instead of accepting the flowers. My hands and feet are about to go cold from fear. He came forward and proposed to me, and my friend looked at me with sad eyes. I thought to myself that maybe my friend thought I was a traitor.
Instead of accepting the flower, I directly told that beautiful girl that you should love the one who loves you. And you will get nothing from me because friendship is greater to me than your love. But the sad thing is that my relationship with my friend got ruined and the boy got addicted to drugs and got kicked out of college. 🥺

Your friend must have really loved the girl because getting addicted to drugs due to rejection from a girl is just crazy.

I tried my best to make my friend feel better, but I couldn't. Love makes some people blind, and that's exactly what happened in his case. I was in a situation that I will remember for the rest of my life, but I would have been happy if I could have really helped him. But I couldn't 🥺
