I took this walk last summer. Repino is a very popular place for summer vacation of the townspeople, but I went for an early morning walk, and there were not many people on the beach and streets of the dacha settlement.
My walk began at Solnechnaya station. People on the opposite side of the platform waiting for a train to St. Petersburg. The hour is early, and the people on the platform are few. To head towards the bay, I must cross the railway tracks on the bridge. The bridge overlooks the perspective of the road and the arrived train.
I walked through the village and the pine forest and went out to the bay after a few hundred meters. There is a beautiful sandy beach stretching along the coast. There are few people here too, thanks to the early hours and the cool weather. I took off my shoes and walked barefoot on the water.
The museum estate of Russian painter Ilya Repin "Penates" is located near the Repino station. The station was named after this artist. I wanted to visit the manor museum, but it turned out that I came on a day off. So I could only look at the closed gate and the monument.
