Our waste management efforts continue to make news headlines, recently featured on the CRTVweb 7:30 PM News.

In response, several top government officials, including the Mayor of Bamenda 3 Council, visited the Wetland to assess the situation and assist in further plastic bottle removal. Next week, we will continue clearing plastic bottles from the stream channel.
We've arranged for a K-Truck to transport the collected plastic bottles daily to our recycling site at Bayelle 3 Quarter. There, they will be transformed into UPB Tree Nursery Pots to use to nurse trees for reforesting the Bamenda Highlands, UPB Vertical Gardens to enhance urban organic vegetable farming, and the remaining plastics will be shredded into pellets to be sold to recycling companies.

You can support us by covering the cost of a K-Truck load of plastic bottles, which is $7 (4000 CFAF). If you have $1000 (approximately 600,000 CFAF) and are interested in investing in a lucrative business that helps clean up Bamenda, please contact us via WhatsApp or Email: +237 676243136 or [email protected]

You can also support us by donating to our GoFundMe project: https://www.gofundme.com/f/bottlestobooksproject

Thank you for your continuous support. Together, we can #BeatPlasticPollution in Bamenda.
