Dreams come true, and I am among those who believe in such a mystery. However, one thing I am sometimes biased about is that I pick the good dreams and reject the nightmare section. I have friends who take nightmares very seriously and wave off good dreams because, according to them, nightmares are warnings of what is to happen in real life, while good dreams are merely illusions of the good things the mind has been thinking about.
I have had dreams and seen them come true. The most recent one I can clearly remember is what I am about to share in this contest.
It was November 2024 when I had a dream one night. In the dream, I was contacted through WhatsApp by an uncle in the UK. This uncle is not someone I am attached to; I do not have his contact, and we are only friends on Facebook, where we do not even chat. All we do is like each other's photos whenever we make a post.
That night, I was surprised when I saw a foreign number with his photo on the display picture message me. I immediately concluded that it was one of those scammers trying to trick me, so I did not bother to reply to the "HI." I just read the message and left it, which notified him that I had seen it. He then sent another message with the usual "How are you?" and I responded.
He explained that he had been messaging me on Facebook for some weeks, but I had not been responding. Luckily, my phone number was visible on my Facebook account, so he copied it and decided to message me on WhatsApp. I quickly rushed to Facebook to confirm, and it was true. Still, I did not believe it directly. I had to verify that it was really him. We made a voice call, then a video call, and along the line, I woke up.
"Ohhh! That was a dream!" I thought to myself. I just waved it off because, even if he wanted to give me a gift in the dream, there was no way I would have received it in real life.
That same week, one of my uncles in Abeokuta called me after a very long time. When I saw the call, I had to think carefully, let the call end, and wait for it to ring again before picking up. I had his number saved on my phone, but we had never really talked—or if we had, I could not remember. My mind went far, thinking and hoping that no one had died, as these uncles who live far away usually only remember to reach out when something bad—mostly death—has occurred.
I answered the call, and the man simply called to check up on me, especially asking how I had been doing after graduating from school. I felt loved, but honestly, I wanted a gift. Lol.
The call ended with the usual pleasantries, and after that, I realized that this was exactly how the chat with the uncle abroad had ended in my dream.
Yes, I had seen an uncle reach out to me in a dream first before it happened in real life. Only that I had expected the uncle from abroad to contact me, but instead, it was the one in Nigeria who did.

The dream you had was like a foreplay of what was to happen. It could be that your uncle has been wanting to reach you and talk to you but he was skeptical about how you'd receive his calls and so a connection to melt your heart was made via a dream.
Dreams are powerful but so are we when we have our faith in God. I disregard nightmares and accept or look forward to the good dreams😁. I guess I'm also biased😂

It is normal that you want to remember the good dreams and rejject the nightmares. Your dream was like a premonition because it is very similar to what actually occurred. It is always amazing when that occurs as getting a forewarning is sometimes better than being surprised.

I think it's better to have an open mind towards all kinds of dreams.. weather the good ones or the bad one..at least it gives us s clue of what is about to happen and we can take action where possible
