So it was valentine's day and Sam was so excited to take his long time crush cherry on a date night out, he had been planning about this day for ages, he planned to make it a romantic night at a fancy dinner place in victoria island,also with a stroll on the beach afterwards.
Yeah, so Sam arrived at cherry's house so he could pick her up, she was dressed in a very beautiful wine red coloured gown, Sam couldn't help himself as he looked at her, he suddenly felt himself feeling hot and at the same time, he felt lucky to be taking such a pretty woman she is
As they drove to their destination, their conversation wasn't stiff , but it was going smoothly, they listed about everything they could think about, about their jobs, family's ,etc , Sam was having the best time of his life at this moment .
Soon things began to go south as soon as they got to the restaurant, the place he had picked was filled, no seats ,and Wen he asked a waiter, they told them to wait for 30 minutes, hopefully a space would come out for them, but cherry said they should go to the bar section and get a drink instead while they wait.
So they ordered the drink at the bar ,and it was brought by a waiter, just as Sam was about taking his drink he accidentally spilled it all over cherry’s dress, oh she was so shocked as she gasped in shock. Sam apologised so much that he couldn't count how many times he apologised.so the evening was already going downhill.
To make the matter more worst , nepa had to take the light, the waiter apologised that the power was out and they couldn't get it back on and they had already went ahead to order their meal before the drink spill incident, they were forced to have their meal with the aid of a rechargeable lamp that lit up like a candle stick, the food wasn't hot and it wasn't really cold too, but it could have tasted better if it was a bit hotter than it was. Sam was so mortified by how everything was going on.
As they finished their meal , Sam suggested they take a walk along the beach to make up for the whole disastrous dinner and drink incident, but as they were having the stroll along the beach, cherry's shoes got stocked in the sand which made her fall and she twisted her ankle.
Sam quickly rushed to her side, he was already feeling helpless,” I'm so sorry Cherry he said, this wasn't supposed to be like this”, this is like the worst date ever. I'm truly sorry he said”
Cherry laughed despite the pains she was having in her ankle, “Well, she said , it's been an adventure so far.”
They had to make their way back to the car, as they did, Sam suddenly realized that he was so focused on making the evening workout that he forgot to enjoy himself, he then looked over at Cherry, he saw her smiling and there he felt a spark of connection.
So he said, “Hey cherry?, would you like to go out with me sometimes again? Maybe we can have a redo of this whole disaster.? Cherry laughed. "I'd love to." She replied.
As Sam dropped her off her house, he felt relieved , the night had truly been a disaster , not one he had planned, but it has also been kind of fun, and yea he learnt an important lesson, sometimes it's okay to let things go wrong ,after all, it's not about the perfect date,it's about the person you're with.
Sam smiled to himself as he drove home. He couldn't wait to see Cherry again.

At least Cherry was not offended at all by the things that happened that night and she certainly deserves a do over
Yea a do over seems like a good idea
Sometimes the best made plans do not work out like one envisages. It seems as though everything that could go wrong went wrong on the date. Despite that, Sam and Cherry were mature enough to look past it. Hopefully, their next meeting will flow more smoothly.
