We’re launching an art contest on Hive, and participating is simple! 🎨
✨ Submit your original artwork with tag #hiveartgallery by February 23rd, 6:00 PM Warsaw time (5:00 PM UTC ). Winners will be featured and rewarded with a share of post earnings. ✨
Here are the rules:
- This is the first edition of art contest. All the posts with the #hiveartgallery tag published by Sunday, February 23rd, 6:00 PM (Warsaw time) will be considered for this first edition of the contest.
- To enter, use the tag hiveartgallery—ideally within the first 5 tags to ensure we don’t miss your post.
- You can submit any type of original artwork: a painting, drawing (including digital, but not AI-generated!), poster, sculpture, custom clothing, furniture… anything creative and unique that you make. Your submission must be your own work, so your post should include at least two images—one showing the final piece and another showing your work in progress.
- After the submission week, we will publish a post showcasing the entries and opening the voting process, which will take place in the comments under that post.
- The number of points available for distribution will depend on the total number of submissions. Initially, each voter will have 3 votes (3 points, 2 points, and 1 point).
- If an artist submits multiple posts and a voter does not specify which post they are voting for, the points will be assigned to the first submitted post.
- Participants cannot vote for their own submissions, but they will receive an extra 3 points for taking part in the voting. If a participant submits multiple posts, the bonus points will be assigned to the first published post.
- The posts with the highest number of points in their category will be declared the winners.
- On Sunday evening, we will publish a post announcing the "Best Artistic Posts of the Week" along with two honorable mentions.
- Prizes: The winners will receive a share of the earnings from the results announcement post. The distribution will be as follows:
🥇 1st place – 40% of the post’s earnings
🥈🥉 2nd and 3rd place – 20% each
If there is a tie, the 80% prize pool will be adjusted accordingly to fairly distribute the rewards among the winners. - We reserve the right to publish the winning artworks on the Hive in summary post, as well as on Hive Art Gallery’s official Facebook and Instagram pages. All published works will include proper attribution to the authors, in accordance with copyright laws.
