Hello Cycling Community! Welcome to my blog. It had been too long since I posted about my cycling experience here. Actually we are facing worst summer season in Pakistan. There is an average 49°C temperature outside that is enough to burn a normal skin. Hence, I had given up on Cycling in the last month. Now as Eid is coming nearer and nearer I decided to resume my cycling adventure.
Cycling Exercise
Cycling is not only a good sport but also a good exercise for the body. I was feeling pain and stiffness in my body from many days. Today I have decided to make paddling from the entrance and exit gate of our housing society. There is about 5 Kilometres walking track between them. In the hot weather, Cycling for such a distance was challenging for me but I accepted it immediately. I was not alone in this adventure. My sibling with his small cycle also accompanied me.
Before starting cycling, I checked air in the tyres, handle position, saddle as well as whole rim condition because I was making a rid on it after about one month. When I was became satisfied everything is good, I decided to ride on it.
Officially we started our Cycling adventure from the entrance gate. To save ourselves from sever thirst, I took the water bottle from refrigerator. I had put mask on my face to save it from the dirt because the walking track had dirt at some patches. Moreover It is good to save our face in the sunshine. During my riding, I was also sharing some riding tips with my siblings. Our cycling start was slow as it is essential to save our energy for ending point in a race. When we are near to our destination then we should apply our full strength. In the middle, we should need smooth paddling. These were some of the tricks that I shared with my siblings. At last, we reached at the exit gate.
At exit gate, we decided to take 20 minutes pause from cycling. We sit here to regain and recover our breathing. My sibling was covered with sweat. It was indeed a very tough but good situation to test our stamina in hot weather. After drinking cold water and rest for complete 20 minutes, we resumed our cycling for entrance gate. Our one-sided cycling track was about 2.5 Kilometres and when we reached at the entrance gate, we had covered another 2.5 Kilometres. So totally our official 5 Kilometres cycling finished here.
Conclusion
Although it was hot weather but I really enjoyed cycling with my siblings after many days. It proved really good to take summer precautions for us. Cold water and 20 minutes pause were enough to regain energy and to relax our body. In the middle, I was feeling breakages in the breathing but I enjoyed this testimony for evaluating our stamina. Moreover, I also shared some cycling tricks with siblings who was really happy to do cycling with me. Before Eid, it was a really good and enjoyable cycling adventure.
