Hello, Cycling. I already completed 6 months with my bike, which was a project that I shared with you while I was doing the whole process of buying components and assembled. But I have made a new year's decision to sell it and buy a 29” GW of the year, it is an ambitious project that I am starting. It has Shimano components and other generic brand of good range.
Que tal, Cycling. Ya cumplí 6 meses con mi bici, que fue un proyecto que compartí con ustedes mientras hacia todo el proceso de compra de componentes y armado. Pero he tomado una decisión de año nuevo que es venderla y comprar una GW de 29” del año, es un proyecto ambicioso que estoy iniciando. Posee componentes Shimano y otros de marca genérica de buena gama.
In this project, I decided to have a fixed fork, because when I move around the city almost 100% is on asphalt, so it is a good bike for the city, it is clear that a suspension gives more comfort and even a more pro style, but really the functionalities depend on what we need. In this case it works for me not to have a suspension, because on asphalt there are not so many imperfections of the terrain, but it all depends on the taste of each person. And yes, there is also suspension on road bikes, but I understood why, most road bikes don't have it.
En este proyecto, decidí tener una horquilla fija, ya que al desplazarme por la ciudad casi el 100% es en asfalto, así que es una buena bici para la ciudad, es claro que una suspensión da más confort e incluso un estilo más pro, pero realmente las funcionalidades dependen de lo que necesitamos. En este caso me funciona no tener una suspensión, ya que en asfalto no hay tantas imperfecciones del terreno, pero todo depende del gusto de cada quien. Y sí, hay también suspensión en bicis de ruta, pero entendí el por qué, la mayoría de las bicis de ruta no tienen.
The decision to buy a bike now, is because having already lived the experience of building one from scratch, now is to choose one to get started in hiking and mountain. I want to choose one with hydraulic suspension, but at the moment my budget is not enough, but I would like to choose one with mechanical suspension.
La decisión de ahora comprar una bici, es porque al ya haber vivido la experiencia de armar una desde cero, ahora es elegir una para iniciarme en el senderismo y montaña. Quiero elegir una de suspensión hidráulica, pero actualmente mi presupuesto no me alcanza, pero si una de suspensión mecánica.
Now I am looking for one for more difficult terrain, since the one I built is considered a hybrid, where it is an MTB frame, but with fixed fork and sprockets for higher speed, this time I will decide for a bike with higher performance for the mountain, although for this first purchase, I will look only with front suspension, since for a multiple suspension bike, the cost increases too much, in this case, I would prefer to increase, first get a front suspension, to save to have multiple suspension.
Ahora busco una para terrenos más difíciles, ya que la que armé es considerada como hibrida, donde es un cuadro MTB, pero con horquilla fija y piñones para mayor velocidad, en esta ocasión me decidiré por una bici con mayores prestaciones para la montaña, aunque para esta primera compra, buscaré solo con suspensión delantera, ya que para una bici de suspensión múltiple, el costo aumenta demasiado, en este caso, preferiría ir aumentando, primero obtener una de suspensión delantera, hasta ahorrar para tener de suspensión múltiple.

Greetings, yes, in this case I'm going to buy the whole bike and assemble it myself. In the previous case I assembled it with different components that I was buying. First the painting, then little by little buying the rest. 😎🤘
