Thank you @gabrielatravels - indeed I am grateful that it was not serious. The roads and bike paths are cleaned to reduce accidents as millions of people cycle here during all seasons. As I mentioned, it was unfortunate that my daughter miscalculated her turn in the corner - where snow had accumulated and slipped. Luckily, she could continue her journey and was not badly hurt.
Thanks again for your comment. As a result - I clarified in the post that the roads and cycle paths were cleared of snow. The issue was the corners where snow accumulated.
When there is heavy snowfall here and streets are not cleaned - cycling is not advised.
