For a while now, I have been mentioning the Cycling Community and the good work they have been doing as a Hive community. We have been able to post your Strava activities to this community using the @cycling tag at the top of your Strava activity description.

You may have noticed already, but we are trialing a minor change in the @strava2hive service over the next month or so. After some quick discussions, we are going to team up with the Cycling Community, and any bike rides that are posted to Hive using the @strava2hive service, will now automatically be posted to the Cycling Community.

If you have not seen the Cycling Community before, it is a growing community and posts being made are getting some good returns lately, with plenty of up votes, so I see it as a win-win for everyone.

Of course, let me know your thoughts on this as we can always make changes if there are any issues.

Just one final note.

There have been one or two posts lately where users are not sticking to the rules of the community. Specifically the second rule “exaggerate or lie about your activity”. If your posts have been judged as not being correct in some way, your calorie count for that activity will be set to zero(0).
