I very much support arming all children by elementary school. I began teaching my kids firearms safety at the age of three, and by 5 they understood how dangerous firearms were, and how to handle them safely. When they grew up familiar with firearms, they knew better than to play with them, or treat them as toys, and they, and their friends and families, were much safer as a result.
