Who's not mad? Me. I'm not mad because I don't work for money, so I'm not being robbed of my money. I did some plumbing for a 96 year old man last week, and he was apoplectic about the cost of plumbing parts. He thought $20 for a sharkbite connector was unbelievable, and I don't blame him, honestly. When I was plumbing on my home back in the 90s, the PVC pipe parts were $2 or $3. Now you can't buy PVC because we found out they ooze toxic chemicals into our water and turn frogs gay, so they sell us Pex and sharkbites for $20 and it'll be ten years before we find out they're oozing chemicals that turn frogs gay too.
Poor bastard can't even walk down to the hardware store to check for himself that the parts are that expensive, and if he could he'd probably have a heart attack at the prices anyway.
