You're not wrong about the lending. However, I leveraged a $800 personal loan at 29.98% from a sketchy outfit called 'The Associates' into a home loan at 15% interest only with a 3 year balloon. I paid that off in full and on time too. Not everyone that falls for the scam will get scammed, because some of them, as I was, are absolutely dedicated to making it work for them.
