I'm looking at the Pathfinder Rule Set now with just the core rules, and making some notes. It very similar to D&D 3.5

So many words my infantile DND experience understands… is DnD 3.5 a iPad/tablet enhanced version of the game I played in the 90’s?

It was probably what most people played between 2003 and 2014 when D&D 5ed came out.
D&D 4th Edition never gained much popularity with the players I knew.
