Trying to blog your way up the Hive ecosystem is a gruelling challenge. Your first posts won't get much attention. That is simply because few people are going too even see them in the feed, let alone open the post and read it. You can get lucky with a fat upvote once or twice but even that does not guarantee building your audience that is going to read and reward on a regular basis. Most new accounts do not get the fast start and have to build gradually which feels painfully slow. Many decent posters do not make it.
There is a handful of projects trying to address the issue. I am neither going to review them nor present a new one. I am just offering to show you an oportunity that exists in the Archon community neighborhood.
Hive needs as many generic tribes as it currently has. I think it is fine as long as the tribes have agendas that can position them.Archon is a generic tribe that has its own token distributed both to the money-investors (holders of miners and stakers of the Archon coin who upvote posts) and time-investors (content creators who tag their posts with #archon - or other tribe tags). Great and informative post Jelly, you have my thanx for turning my eye towards the Archon community, i just ". made a "pledge" yesterday to post more (mostly (monetaryliy speaking i´ve been bloging on Steemit still.) But i want to do more on this platform, (Hive... it´s such better UI ((i can´t belive i´m saying this)) lol.
I have tried some tribes here, usually i just "slap some tags". But will be picky in the future. And hmm, next week i will post on it as a main group, see how it goes. :)

Concerning Archon, maybe I did not look properly but for me archonapp.net is not working anymore. Is that normal, and is there a new frontend instead and I don't know ?
Really interesting I didn't even know about that voting list. And as you said making a post about a game you barely know could not be a good idea. My problem is that since the taxes are really high. My gameplay is just mining cards and trying to sell them. So that would be the less interesting post ever.
