An important update regarding the current situation, immediate changes and future plans.
MAXUV News
MAXUV continues to operate and we are very pleased to see some healthy sales this week. The STEEM is being powered up into one of our voters, taking it to over 15k SP.
But as you are also aware, the current Steem-Tron saga is causing numerous problems - and broader concerns. Here I just wish to highlight those aspects that affect the functioning of MAXUV.
Firstly, there was some down-time during the latest SF 22.5, which became extended as our Steem nodes took some time to all fully come back online. In consequence, the voter was not fully working and I have been catching up with manual upvotes. However, MAXUV is a complex little machine and has also been using Steemauto to create the multiple votes that members can see on their posts. Now, Steemauto has been disabled in protest at the Tron-controlled witnesses and this has created further missed votes. As I write this, Steemauto has come back into operation!
Just to reassure everyone that such missed votes have been logged and I shall continue to manually upvote members. To save time, the upvotes will come from only one voter - the "maxuve" account - and will be scaled up to the nearest 1%.
At the same time, we have fast-tracked our own MAXUV voter and that is now operational. As an interim measure, the votes have been calculated in such a way so as they come from just one voter, rather than the multiples that you would normally see. Without having to draw a network diagram, you may well see some extra votes, but please treat them as bonuses as they may not always appear!
We are also fast-tracking our new MAXUV algorithm and that will be announced soon. Again, rest assured that your earnings are safe - and for many will see an increase - and that the funds are almost all on Steem itself so are as safe as the blockchain.
We hope that 2020 will bring further growth and increased value to all those projects that have worked hard during 2019 to bring something positive to the Steem blockchain.
