First, I want to say I got here from your ad on https://giftgiver.site - I'm always looking for projects that use blockchain to move toward changing the world away from resource extraction. Unfortunately, most of them are so intricate, it's confusing!

So y'all minted tokens, SOLs, and sold those to start up a solar farm. In exchange for buying SOLs, people get a "dividend" of HIVE? Do the people who hold SOL do any decision-making or otherwise have involvement, beyond buying the tokens?

I blog - where do I learn more about this Blog tribe? I'm honestly more interested in these projects as communities than investments, but just... I don't understand how it all works, tribes and stuff!

(As soon as I understand I'll blog about it, lol, and help answer questions from other newbies I see, but right now I'm just... I feel like the longer I'm on Hive the more confused I get!)

While holding the SOL token doesn’t confer any ownership or voting rights (otherwise it would be an unlicensed security), I do take token holders’ ideas and opinions into account when making decisions...ultimately, I need to keep you guys happy. I can’t share any of the income/profit either, for the same reason, but holding SOL does represent an ongoing (perpetual) upvote from the Project’s account(s).

There’s not a lot of info available about the Blog tribe, but if you’re blogging you should use it. All you need to do is put “blogtoken” in the tags at the bottom of your post and you will receive BLOG (on Hive-Engine) from The Project’s vote. We have lots of others (like archon and neoxian as general tags) as well.
