Welcome to my report card for Season 136 (Ranked Rewards Season 49), which ran from May 31 to June 15, 2024. While I didn't play as many battles as S135, or earn as much SPS, this past season was still a success. Let's get into the numbers!

I performed well enough in both formats of ranked play. Because I was a bit busy with the end of the school year, I switched on the wild bot a bit more than I have in seasons past.
In Modern ranked, I managed a record slightly over a 50% win rate with 127 wins and 120 losses. Notably, I finished in Champion 2 with exactly 4000 rating, guaranteeing me a reset back to 3500 rating in Diamond 1.
In Wild ranked, the bot was able to secure a leaderboard position in 46th place overall, netting 20000 DEC for the trouble. Xbot triumphed at a 62.5% win rate over the 264 battles it played.

I wish I had won the 13K DEC that Splinterstats thinks I did this past season. After totaling the SPS received as tournament prizes through the game client's "Currency Activity" function, I found the sum of 5,716.635 SPS for prizing in 12 events of the 30 events I actively played. With more consistent completion rates, I could make 5-figure sums of SPS from tournament prizes on a seasonal basis. This is a short-term goal I need to improve on, especially as Modern ranked gets more competitive.
Tournament play is still one area of the game where I could earn considerably more SPS, both from tighter play and just remembering to submit my battles! I'm leaving a bunch of SPS on the table just from my lack of time to be able to submit all the tournament battles I'm signed up for.

Glint season rewards will show in the season they are claimed.
Last season I earned my highest single-season Glint total ever -- 570066! I played 511 battles in S136 and won 292, earning 1115 Glint per battle and 1952 Glint per win. 164 wins came in Wild and another 127 wins came in Modern, so I was earning Glint (and SPS) at different rates in the two different formats.
I also earned a substantial 5572 SPS rewards from ranked play. The math works out to 10.9 SPS per battle played and 19 SPS per battle won. Again, these averages include both Wild and Modern ranked play.

With another 1K SPS from staking rewards and an impressive 1406 SPS from brawl rewards for three cycles in Tier 5, I brought home another healthy chunk of SPS in Season 136 -- 8860 SPS! Add to it my 5716 SPS winnings from tournament events for a total of 14576 SPS for the 15-day Season 136. That means I earned about 972 SPS per day this past season!
While the community remains a bit uneasy about the lower token price, I'm still enjoying the strategic gameplay as much as ever. I continue to add more value-earning cards to my collection as prices on rare older editions slide down further and competition in the marketplace heats up for bargains on these rare NFTs.
The SPS print run will continue for another 2 years, and in the short term, the price will continue to tumble as more of the governance token floods the ecosystem. It is just basic supply and demand. Over time, new players will stick around and the emissions schedule for SPS will dry up. The SPSDAO will decide how to use its stash of SPS to support rewards in the future.
There is so much to be excited about on the horizon, that I do not worry too much about a falling price in the short term. 1 SPS = 1 SPS! In US dollar terms, at the spot price of $0.0075, my SPS earnings of 14576 is worth $109. But I don't focus too much on this number. Instead, I savor the challenge of each battle and the strategy used in those 3 minutes to make the best lineup possible. This is what drives me to be better every day!
