This was an unusual season for me since I spent so much of it away from my computer at Electric Forest, a camping music festival out in the woods. Notice how few Modern battles I got to play this season compared to Wild (127 vs. 372), nearly 3:1 in favor of Wild.
In fact, I only started playing Modern in the last two days of the season. I was actually quite worried I wouldn't make it back to Modern Champion 3 because I was still at only 3600 rating with 90 minutes left to play in the season. Then I rattled off a 13-battle winning streak to give me a flicker of hope to make it to Champion 2, but then I lost and called it a season at 3880 rating.

Overall, my Modern performance was comparable to last season, winning slightly better than 50% of my battles. I was up from 51% to 53%, but with a smaller sample size. I still finished outside of the leaderboard places in Modern.
In Wild, the Xbot returned slightly weaker results this season while still finishing in the leaderboard spots. At 203-169, the bot had a 55% win rate, which is a few percentage points below last season. I assume that the weaker accounts getting shaken out of Wild meant that those that remained have stronger collections and are harder to beat.

My tournament results here are a joke. I won exactly ZERO SPS from tournaments last season. In fact, I only played in a single event, went 3-8 in Round 1, and finished in 67th place.
Sadly, due to connection issues and traveling, I fled every single other tournament battle this season. I'll be back next season though, I promise!

Glint season rewards will show in the season they are claimed.
Considering 75% of my wins came from Wild this season, I think 4763 SPS is a nice return. Clearly the new battle pass in Wild has contributed to better SPS returns due to less low-level accounts farming rewards. My haul of Glint was slightly lower this month, finishing just under 500K, earning exactly 499592 Glint.
For what it's worth, I've been buying the first two batches of all three loot chests and the first five batches of merits. Maybe if we ever get a decision from Matt/management about the unlock fee for Chaos Legion soulbound reward cards, I'll make some changes to my rewards strategy.

With so many of my battles played in Wild and no tournament prizes this season, my SPS earnings are way down. Staking and brawl rewards both accounted for nice bags of SPS over 1K, so that's a big help for the bottom line. All in all, 7741 SPS is still a very healthy return considering how little I was able to play manually this season.
Asset prices may be down, but I've never had more fun playing this game. Rebellion cards have continued to make things interesting, especially with the addition of the new allied-element legendary summoners. The new pack sales mechanic is great and eventually, we will work ourselves out of the hole we got stuck in from Chaos Legion.
Using today's spot price of 0.0065 USD, my haul of SPS from Season 137 is worth about $50. In times like these, I just remember that 1 SPS = 1 SPS and the more I have, the more power I gain concerning the governance and evolution of this game.
Still Bullish AF. I Love This Game!
