This was a great season for me, as I had more time to play human battles in Modern and I did a much better job completing the tournaments I registered for. I continue to stack the Rebellion promos as they come out because not only do they play well but they also rent well. Enough with the intro, let's jump into the stats for S147 which ran from November 15 to November 30, 2024.
Match Report
Performance
Stat | #Wild | #Modern |
---|---|---|
Rank | Champion #10 | Champion #88 |
Rating | 5700 - Champion I | 4000 - Champion II |
Rating High | 5700 | 4020 |
Ratio (Win/Loss) | 1.63 (199/122) | 1.27 (81/64) |
Longest Streak | 10 | 8 |
For the first time in my recollection, I finished in the Top 10 of the Wild ranked leaderboard for a nice 60K DEC payday. I've selectively started renting about 10 key alpha and beta cards to make my account extremely competitive among the top accounts in Wild. This empowered the bot to finish with a strong ~62% win rate over 321 battles.
Over in Modern, I had the time to play 145 total battles with close to a 56% win rate. For the second straight season, I finished in the Top 100 and more importantly, I made it up to Champion 2. This might be my best combined season for Wild + Modern in recent memory. Long may it continue!
Rewards Report
Earnt Tokens (Ranked Rewards)
Ranked Play Wins | Tokens Received |
---|---|
280 | ✨ 760921 Glint + ⭐5619.922 SPS |
Season Rewards Claimed | ✨ 0 Glint |
Glint Spent | ✨ (800375) Glint |
Glint season rewards will show in the season they are claimed.
Now that I've decided to stop spending my excess Glint on energy, I'm playing fewer battles in each season. Fewer battles means less Glint is being earned, and for the second straight season, I received less than 1M Glint at 869,494. Based on my ranked play, I earned 1865 Glint per battle, and 3105 Glint per win!
I typically max out the first run of the three loot chests, and recently I've been spending my excess Glint on Gold Foil rare and epic draws. So far, so good, filling out my GF Rebellion reward card set.
🟣 Rental Report
Type | DEC |
---|---|
Revenue | 0.000 |
Expenses (inc. fees) | (10061.170) |
Cancellation Refunds | 2372.863 |
NET | (7688.307) |
Here, you can see that my rental expense for the season was 7688 DEC for the full 15-day period that I rented the cards. I decided to buy a few of the key rentals with my profits from my alt and rental accounts, so I made some cancellations midway through. Considering these extra rentals helped me to Top 10 in ranked Wild for 60K DEC, I'd say it was well worth the rental, without even considering the extra value added through better tournament performance.
⭐ SPS Report
Type | ⭐ Amount |
---|---|
Staking Rewards | 1017.943 |
Ranked Rewards as above | 5619.922 |
Brawl Rewards | 585.047 |
Land Rewards | 694.180 |
License Stake Rewards | 513.969 |
NET SPS | 8431.061 |
Since I didn't PAY for any SPSDAO tournament events during S147, that tournament section did not populate for this report card. I earned SPS prizes from 12 events during S147. I was quite busy to start the season and didn't have the time to submit lineups for tournaments until 5 days into the season on November 20. Impressively, I still earned 7,885.713 SPS from those 12 tournaments that I prized in, averaging ~657 SPS from each of those events.
My staking rewards continue to climb higher as my pile of staked SPS grows for each ranked win. Unfortunately, I fled one of the three brawls during S147, so my brawl rewards are closer to 600 than 900 SPS. On the bright side, my play to squeeze more SPS from my land plots before the next update has been paying off. With the move to creating additional land resources, I have been reconsidering my land positions and the different types of land I will need to be able to generate SPS after the update.
S147 treated me very well, finishing in the Top 10 in Wild ranked and Top 100 in Modern ranked. Although my tournament performances weren't consistent throughout the season, I still earned an impressive 7,885 SPS from tournaments. Combined with my 8431 SPS from the various SPS reward types, I added 16316 SPS to my coffers. Based on today's spot price of 0.0093 USD, I accrued $151 of SPS tokens in addition to my earned DEC and the numerous Rebellion reward cards I received from my Glint stack.
I continue to be amazed at the evolving strategy and complexity of battles as new promo cards are added to the game. Despite token prices and community sentiment, I'm still having tons of fun and thrilling competition in playing this game I love on a near daily basis. Thanks for stopping by and I'll see you in the Splinterlands.
