I'll keep this intro brief since I'm staring down the deadline of the new season rapidly approaching. Tournament play has become my top priority each season with my free time to battle, and that effort has paid off since it is the most lucrative way to earn SPS. I still have some time to battle in Modern Ranked, but that effort will always take a back seat to tournaments now, especially because the format and league of tournaments vary all the time, keeping the strategy fresh. Once again, I battled my account in human Modern Ranked up to Champion League 2. I won 101 of my 177 battles for a win rate of 57%! Not too shabby. It's been ages since I grinded my way up to Modern Champion 1, but now with my focus on tournament events, this is no longer my top priority.
In Wild Ranked, the automated bot battled up to 32nd spot in the leaderboard for a 20000 DEC payday but missed out on a Top 25 position for double the DEC. Winning 172 out of 288 battles, the bot had close to a 60% win rate for the season, which is mighty impressive. My rental strategy has been working out and making a difference, as I continue adding a few key cards missing from my collection each season.

With a renewed focus on tournament events, my winnings have been my biggest bag of earned SPS each season. For tournaments ending during S149, I earned 7787.989 SPS in prize payouts! I'm still missing a few too many tournaments than I would like, so I know I can break 10K if I play all the big events each tournament cycle. Expect even bigger totals in S150.

Glint season rewards will show in the season they are claimed.
Sadly because I made a few goofs turning off my bot and wasting some accrued energy, I had my lowest win total in a while -- just 273 wins from 465 battles. I did bump up my staked SPS just a bit, which paid off with an increase in earned Glint and SPS from Ranked play. With totals of 620K Glint and 5360 SPS, I still made out alright. Based on my total wins across both formats, I averaged about 2274 Glint and 19.6 SPS per win.

I'm still renting about 10 cards each season to give my Wild collection a boost for tournament and ranked play. This strategy is working because my Wild win rate continues to improve and I have a more complete collection to help battle in those lucrative Wild tournament events. I will continue to rent these key Wild cards each season.

Once again, some misses on my brawl schedule had me leaving some SPS on the table. Sorry for letting my guild down when they need me. Staking rewards continue to earn me over 1K SPS each season, and I plan to add another plot or two to my land position as Cryptomancer gets us closer to Land 1.75
All in all, S149 was another successful season for me. I maintained a leaderboard position in Wild and I made it to Champion 2 in Modern. Most of all, I am getting more consistent with my tournament performances, earning even more SPS for my time invested.
SPS rewards of 7693.341 combined with 7787.989 from tournament play totals 15481.33 SPS earned during S149. Based on today's spot SPS price of 0.0074 USD, I earned $114.56 worth of SPS, in addition to all the Glint rewards. I'm not too worried about the fluctuating price of SPS, and instead, I just stay focused on earning as much SPS as I can each season while enjoying the competition and strategy of the best Web3 TCG in the world!
