It has been 16 days since i picked up my Oraimo ear pod from Speedaf Express, which I ordered on 26 Dec. 2024. Initially, before ordering the ear pod, i was feeling skeptical about it because my previous experience with another ear pod I've used was very disappointing, it did not last long and eventually got damaged. Another thing that bothers me was how long a fully charged battery can last before needing another charge, especially given that there's no stable power supply in Nigeria. All these made me go through the reviews of early users, there were a lot of positive reviews and only a few negligible negative ones, so i got convinced and order it.
After picking up the product from the logistics company, i decided not to rush into writing my review, because i want to give it some time to properly assess its performance before sharing my thoughts.
So, I've been using this ear pod since day one and I've made some observations. So far so good, i comnend Oraino for this product.
The sound quality is superb, it's one that always makes you want to listen to music.
When it comes to battery life, based on my usage, a full charge last 3 days for me.
The next big thing which sounds like a game changer is the Oraimo sound app. I love the fact that Oraimo has a sound app with so many features and this earpod works perfectly with it, making the experience even better.
Here are the things you can do with the sound app.
With the sound app you can tune the sound of the earpod by selecting Equalizer, this allows you to chose between Heavy Bass, Jass, Vocal, Rock, Standard, and even create your own sound profile.
You can as well see the battery life of the earpod pairs when they're are connected to a mobile device.
The app also features an "Earphone Touch Control". This is a place where you can customise each pairs of the earphones, signing a specific gesture settings to it.
There a game mode available in the app, allowing you to switch from normal mood to game mood for a better gaming experience.
Actually, i don't believe a firmware update will be possible any earpod but maybe I'm wrong. I saw a firmware update section in the sound app though there's no new update available.
In a situation where a pair of the earphones got missing, you can make use of "Find Device" in the sound app. It is recommended that you don't have the other pair in your ear as it might damage your hearing.
Last but not the least in the sound app is that you can download the guide or manual as a soft copy instead of the hardcopy that comes with the product.
Another thing i must say is that the earphones feels so comfortable in the ear. I have tried having it in my ear while jogging and it didn't fell off, i also wear it while doing some house chores and it never fell off. However i wouldn't recommend over usage as sometimes after removing the earphones, i still have some imaginary feelings that something is still fixed in my ear.
One thing i wish Oraimo would add to the earpod is a protector that will shield it from scratches and drops.
