Hi dear Hivers,
Visiting different churches and participating of different religious activities is a must during Easter or Holy Week, as we call it in Venezuela.
On Wednesday, I went with my sister and her mom to Santa Ines Church here in Cumaná to participate of the Procession of the Nazarene.
The place looked nice early when we arrived, but it got crowded by the minute. Even the major was there.
Here I am, maybe not in my best Sunday clothes, so to speak, but I do my best to show my faith and follow my religious principles and teachings.
I love this part of town. We could not help taking some selfies.
I do not know when I will be coming back; hopefully in August, so we were having as much fun as possible.
I could not find a tostones (crunchy plantains) seller, but we got some popcorn and cotton candy.
Nice to see the pics of the church and precession and the town and you and the family.
Happy Easter!
Thanks.
Happy Easter to you too. Today is my last day here. I should go back to Puerto Ordaz with my mom tomorrow. Back to school's stressful routine 😱
I hope school isn't too stressful. Hopefully you have a little time at the end of each day to do something you like. Maybe that will help with the stress. :)
Thanks. Monday was not that bad. Today is a local holiday in the state (Battle of San Félix), so I can relax a bit 😴😁
