AI NFT is Art??

Hello everyone,

It's me again. This time, I'd like to discuss AI-generated NFT art. I'm exploring this because one of my crypto wallets offers tools to create AI NFTs that can be publicly showcased or sold.

I wonder, can AI NFTs be considered a form of art that holds copyright ownership and can be accountable for its authenticity? As someone relatively new to the NFT world, I'm unsure of the standards and ethical codes that define valuable NFTs. Are there specific ethical guidelines within the NFT community that I might be overlooking? Or perhaps NFTs, especially AI-generated ones, are quite diverse in their audience and buyers?

One funny thing made me rethink my approach. When a friend jokingly commented that I was crazy to price my AI NFT at 1 ETH, it made me reconsider. We're good friends, and I didn't intend to sell the NFT commercially anyway. Even though the artwork was created by an AI based on various commands I input, I intentionally set a high price because it's for my personal enjoyment. It contains certain codes only I know, and if I were to sell it, I'd want someone to appreciate the value behind it.

From this, I've come to think that the value of art can stem from its history and the creator's intent in producing it under specific circumstances or motivations. It's not just about the aesthetic beauty but also about the intrinsic value within. I'm just a novice in the art world, so forgive me if my thoughts seem unclear.

I've attached some of my NFT creations inspired by my love for galaxies and the sky.

I enjoy sharing thoughts with you all and hope you're inspired to create, no matter your motivations or methods. Express yourself in any way you desire.
