THE BRAVE GUARDIANS

in Daily Blog22 days ago

When I first met Bobby and Kinky, our new security dogs, I wasn’t sure what to expect. Bobby, a strong and confident boy, and Kinky, a sharp and observant girl, were unlike any pets I had ever owned. They had big, imposing bodies and a set of funny traits that quickly made them unforgettable.
It all started on the 22nd of December, 2024. I was preparing to sell my chickens in the market(ikpa) for the Christmas season when disaster struck. Thieves broke into my compound and stole all the chickens I had worked so hard to raise. The sight of my neighbor’s ladder, left by the robbers and covered with marks on the fence, made the whole thing feel like a bad dream. I was devastated.
My neighbors and cousins urged me not to let the culprits go unpunished, but I was too shocked to think straight and know what to do. After much thought, I decided to invest in security dogs to prevent such incidents from happening again.
Then on 10th January 2024 ,When Bobby and Kinky first arrived, I was both impressed and intimidated by them. Their bark alone was enough to send the thieves away down anyone’s spine, including me. It took me a while to build a bond with them in order for them to know me

but as time passed, we grew close that if they do something wrong they will apologize by kneeling down with there body.
One thing about Bobby and Kinky is their relentless barking. If anyone visited, even people passing at the back of my fence they would bark continuously until they went far, which secretly delighted me and I knew I had made the right choice. Their appetites, however, were something else! They ate so much that I often found myself buying foodstuffs almost every day most especially bobby but kinky is trying to learn from his husband as I usually call them when am playing with them ( husband and wife) I can't wait for my dogs to give birth to puppies.
What amazed me most was their sharp sense of smell. They could detect human scents from afar, and their protective instincts were unmatched. I spent weeks training them to obey commands, and now they’ve mastered every word I say even there names.
Bobby and Kinky have transformed my life in so many ways. Not only are they protective and reliable, but their playful and great in nature has brought me so much joy. I love them deeply, and I’m grateful for their presence every single day.

Dogs are humans' most loyal friends, they can serve as both pets and security. The most amazing part of it is that they understand human language.
In my city, most households have dogs as security.

When you beat them they give you bombastic side eye 😄

🤣🤣🤣

That is why dogs are domestic animals because of their sense and ability to alert and protect their owners.

Every animal is loyal, and rather than being scared of them or harming them, we need to cherish them. What a sad yet beautiful story.
