I like the second option for you too! At least you live in a climate that can grow food most of the year to keep your lifestyle sustainable.

oh thanks for weighing in! I have been really inspired lately by a young stay at home mom in Canada who chose to live a low income life to be able to stay home with her baby. her videos have really inspired me to make the most of what resources I do have. And you are totally right, I am lucky to be able to grow food most of the year, even if pretty much all winter it is only greens I can grow, still that is a big help for winter meals.

You are an inspiration to anyone that is looking to conserve resources and live off the land. You go girl!

I can feel you with that nit practical in buying foods time to time. Same situation, but mine is I had an infant.

If you have enough space, then try growing vegetables.

yes totally! This youtube channel has really helped me and the woman who runs it also has an infant so it might be of interest to you:

And I do grow vegetables! thanks for the comment.

This is such a smart approach to food prep! Growing your own greens and sprouting legumes sounds like a great way to save time and money. Cooking can be tough, but it’s awesome that you’re finding ways to make it easier. Hope you find even more tips that work for you! 😊

I wish I could say I love cooking but, for now, I can say that I love to eat and cooking is necessary to that. Thank you so much for your support & positive feedback.
