Hello my beautiful people, today I would like to share with you a weekend vlog in which I spent a wonderful day with my family, thank God, and one of my nieces was celebrating her 40th birthday, this is a celebrated date for every woman since a new stage begins, changes and very interesting things arise, so she wanted to celebrate it big and all her friends and family were there to keep her company on her special and beautiful day. She herself was in charge of decorating and making her own birthday cake, since she is a skilled pastry chef, and even though everyone told her that it was not fair that she was baking on her birthday, she insisted on making her own cake, and the truth is that it was a great success because everything was delicious, both the cake and the gelatin and everything that was served that night.
Hola mi gente linda, hoy me gustaría compartir con ustedes un vlog de fin de semana en el cual pasé un estupendo día en familia, gracias a Dios, y es que una de mis sobrinas estaba celebrando sus 40 años, esta es una fecha celebre para toda mujer ya que comienza una nueva etapa, surgen cambios y cosas muy interesantes, así que ella quería celebrarlo en grande y todos sus amigos y familiares estuvimos allí para hacerle compañía en su día tan especial y bonito. Ella misma se encargó de la decoración y de hacer su propio pastel de cumpleaños, ya que es una hábil pastelera, y a pesar de que todos le dijeron que no era justo que ella estuviese horneando el día de su cumpleaños, ella insistió en hacer su propia torta, y la verdad es que fue un gran acierto porque todo estaba delicioso, tanto la torta como la gelatina y todo lo que sirvieron esa noche.
There was everything at the party: dancing, laughter, anecdotes and even a karaoke session, so when that moment arrived I sat down to watch the show since my nephews and my daughters were singing and they were really giving us a very, very pleasant time, they animated the party very well, and sometimes, we as an audience sang the choruses of the songs.
Hubo de todo en la fiesta: baile, risas, anécdotas y hasta una sesión de karaoke, así que cuando llegó ese momento me senté a contemplar el show ya que mis sobrinos y mis hijas estaban cantando y realmente nos estaban haciendo pasar un rato muy pero muy agradable, animaban muy bien la fiesta, y a veces, nosotros como público hacíamos los coros de las canciones.
But I also really enjoyed the dance, we laughed a lot when someone played the famous song "Juana La Cubana" by the 80's orchestra "Las Chicas del Kan". At that time one of the girls in the orchestra did a whole show playing an instrument that in Venezuela is known as "Charrasca." She made signs that her back hurt because she was now officially a woman of four decades. This is part of the essence of being Venezuelan, our family parties are unique, they are usually very fun.
Pero también disfruté muchísimo del baile, nos reímos un montón cuando alguien puso la famosa canción "Juana La Cubana" de la orquesta de los 80 "Las chicas del Kan" en esa época una de las chicas de la orquesta hacía todo un show tocando un instrumento que en Venezuela se conoce como "Charrasca" Así que cuando escuchamos la canción mis sobrinas y yo salimos a bailar pero entonces mi sobrina (la que cumplía años) tomó la charrasca para hacer un su propio performance, pero nos daba mucha risa que ella hacía ademanes de que le dolía la espalda porque era ahora oficialmente una mujer de cuatro décadas. Esto es parte de la esencia de ser venezolano, nuestras fiestas familiares son únicas, suelen ser muy divertidas.
The moment of singing the birthday was very nice but someone suddenly took out a device similar to a fire extinguisher and started spraying everyone with foam, for some guests it was a funny moment but for others it was somewhat annoying, since not everyone has fun with this type of somewhat heavy jokes, however the moment was not ruined, my niece laughed a lot at that situation and the important thing is that she had a great time. It was a nice party in her honor, well deserved, since she is always in charge of organizing and preparing birthday celebrations for the entire family.
El momento de cantar el cumpleaños fue muy bonito pero alguien de pronto sacó un artefacto parecido a un estinguidor y empezó a rociar a todos con espuma, para algunos invitados fue un momento gracioso pero para otros fue algo molesto, ya que no todo el mundos e divierte con este tipo de bromas un tanto pesadas, sin embargo el momento no fue arruinado, mi sobrina se río mucho con esa situación y lo importante es que ella la pasara muy bien. Fue una linda fiesta en su honor muy merecida, ya que ella siempre se encarga de organizar y preparar las celebraciones de cumpleaños de toda la familia.

Wow, what a beautiful and fun celebration! Your niece’s 40th birthday sounds like it was filled with love, laughter, and so many special moments. I love that she baked her own cake and took charge of organizing the day, even though everyone told her to relax. It really shows how passionate and hands-on she is! I’m sure the cake was amazing, especially with her pastry skills.
The karaoke and dancing must have brought so much energy to the party, and it’s great that your family joined in on the fun. The foam surprise sounded like a funny moment, but it didn’t seem to ruin the celebration at all! Those little surprises make things even more memorable.
It’s clear how much family means to you, and it’s so nice to see everyone coming together to honor your niece. I’m sure she appreciated all the effort, especially since she’s the one who usually organizes the family celebrations.
