Five days to go, then it off to Philippines!! :)

these are my favorite noodles to eat for lunch. I could eat em everyday! and they are sooooo cheap and easy to get there, in Philippines.

I am just in waiting mode. My bags are packed.. all except for a few items that I use on the daily.. Like my big, red, cup/mug that my sister got me a long time ago. 😎🤙

I wanted to talk just briefly about the favorable exchange rate between usd and the philippine pesos (php). It fluctuates, but as of this post, it is 57.34 php for every 1 usd.

See, here in hawaii, the average income is $30k. Even counting birthday money I might get, and, of course, that wonderful hive rewards.. I fall way way short of that income. I am not even on the spectrum of income here in usa. I am a self proclaimed low low class guy.. (in terms of income. NOT in character.. :P)

But, when I am in Phils, I feel as if I am rich! Not nearly as much as the richest in the country.. but definitely middle class at least. I think the average minimum wage job yields about as much as I earn, but without me working 40 hrs a week. :)

I am grateful for that and hey.. I am soooooooooooooo glad I found Phils as I feel it really IS SUCH a great country.. the people there are the best I've met and the cost of living there, well, it matches what I would call fair.. even a bit cheaper mostly.
