mom and ysa back in 2020.
I know dog years are 7 dog years to every 1 human year, but I never heard of Senior years.. or should I say fountain of youth years.. :)
I am so grateful that, not only is my mom doing well after her re cent move to cali.. she has seemingly regained about 5-10 years of alertness and life to her. So what is that ratio? about 10 years if life regained in about week only! That blows away dog years for sure! Who woulda thought the change would be so drastic and encouraging! 😉☺️🤙
Ever since she fell and was dazed and confused and had to move in with me and my fam.. she kinda went in hibernation and seemed to 'give up' on life.. as if she was just waiting to die.. she would just lay in bed for about 20 hours of each day.
If we rewind the clock a few years.. she was living on her own still and knew how to ride the bus, go shopping on her own, and even knew how to work her TV without any help every time. :P
Even after she had her little fall and seemed to have mild abnesia.. not knowing how to do even simple things anymore.. but still, she was strong and still full of life.. she would go walking every day as well as we would play cards for an hour every day.
I even bot her a swimsuit and took her to the pool.. (first time in my life, to see her actually go into the water! :)
To life, to life..
L'chaim!!!
😁😎✌️
Hahaha there is for sure reasons to celebrate!!
*If I were a rich man.. :)
