(Japanese Meat and Potato Stew)

Made this Nikujaga recipe for our staff meal lunch today using apple juice and rice vinegar as substitutes for mirin and sake.
Super delicious and satisfying beef and potatoes stew with konjac noodles (shirataki).
I used instant dashi from @shojikiya for this recipe which is so convenient but still having all those delicious umami flavors from the broth.
It was a delicious bowl of noodles thats so unique, comforting, and satisfying. Really great dish to have on a cold and rainy day. Will definitely make this again in the future and will want to use mirin and sake as the original recipe.
