Last meal at Kuching before heading back ✈️ to KL - my favorite spot and favorite cuisine at Pinggai Cafe
Super delicious Dayak Cuisine which is a local cuisine mainly found in East Malaysia. Had my favorite dishes like Dabai Fried rice which is fried rice with their local olives. So flavorful and delicious.
And also Babi Masak Tempoyak which is pork belly cooked with fermented durian. It's my seconds time having it an it's as delicious as I can remember. Glad to be able to introduce this dish to my brother as well which he really enioyed too.
Other amazing dishes that's a must order:
- Babi Goreng Tempoyak (Pork Belly with Fermented Durian)
- Midin Belacan (Wild Fern with Dried Shrimp Paste)
- Rebung Masak Pedas (Bamboo Shoot With Chili and Ginger Torch)
First time having Rebung masak Pedas and it was super brilliant! It's bamboo shoot cooked with chilies and bunga Kantan (ginger torch). So appetising and so delicious!
Gonna be anticipating my next visit there again when I travel to Kuching again!
Everything looks delicious as usual. What is that blue drink?
