FOODlog #1270: Curry Cheese Chicken with Mantao

A simple but super delicious and addictive supper cooked by our sous chef last Sunday. She made:

  • Curry Cheese Chicken
  • Mantao 2-ways

Every bite made you want to go back for more. That dipping sauce had onions, mince chicken, curry powder, curry leaves, and cheese. What a combination of flavors!

The mantao was some leftovers from a guest shift at our kitchen which they didn't want to take back so they gave it to us.

She made 1 steamed and the other deep fried. The deep fried one had a nice golden brown exterior, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. However, I preferred the steamed mantao as it was soft and fluffy and the perfect vehicle and pairing for the robust curry cheese chicken.

I think this sauce could go well with any carb - roti, rice, or pasta 👍

Super delicious and will definitely want her to cook it again!
