FOODlog #1292: Tuna & Beetroot Sandwich

in Daily Blog6 days ago

🐟🥪 A sandwich recipe that I learned from my previous work place. Made it for our staff supper last week when we had water disruption which this sandwich didn't need to use any water to prepare except for the washing part.

Would have been even better toasted on a pan to get those nice browning on the sourdough but I didn't wanna wash a pan since there wasn't any easy access water.

What a difficult week it was with water disruption but at least I managed to get out a decent staff supper to fill everyone's tummy.

Tune Meltz Sandwich:

Tostado o no, ¡suena espectacular! 😊

What a delightful recipe! 😍🐟🥪 That tuna Meltz sandwich sounds like the perfect combination of flavors and textures. The poached beets should give it a sweet and juicy touch that complements nicely with the creaminess of the caper tartar sauce and aged cheddar cheese. In addition, using sourdough is an elegant touch that enhances the flavor.

Despite the difficulties due to the lack of water, you managed to create something simple but special to share with the team. It sure was a hit!

You definitely inspire me to try this recipe soon. Toasted or not, it sounds spectacular! 😊
