How They Are (Children) So Happy When Visiting Semesta Farm

in Daily Blog20 hours ago

Today is a special day for Budi Utomo kindergarten students in Rose class. Because today they visited the Semesta Farm dairy farm in Sri rejosari village, Way Jepara sub-district. At 8.00 am, the kindergarten students departed from the school by mini bus to Semesta Farm. Along the way they were very enthusiastic and sang together. This was the first time that Budi Utomo Kindergarten visited Semesta Farm.

Arriving at the location, the students could not wait to get off the car to immediately visit the goats. Waouw ... a lot of goats, that was the first sentence that came out of the boys because they were enthusiastic about seeing the many goats in the Semesta Farm cage. The farm owner provides grass, which can be given to the goats that have asked for food.

The children ran here and there carrying grass to give to the goats. Lately, the rain has been pouring down on Way Jepara, making the farm site muddy, but the children don't care. They continued to run around happily, because today they were learning outside of school and had a hands-on learning experience.

After feeding the goats, it was time for the students to see first-hand how to do goat milking. A goat that was ready to be milked was removed from the drum. Students enthusiastically followed the instructions given by the owner on how to milk the goats to maintain the originality and quality of pure milk that is safe for consumption for various groups. Starting from children to adults.

Initially, I and other teachers assumed that not many children like to drink milk or are allergic. However, it turns out that all children like to drink milk. So that all children want to buy milk according to the variants, namely strawberry flavor and chocolate flavor. However, there is also an original flavor that has no mixture of flavors. The original flavor costs 10K, for this flavor I did not try it, because I was afraid it would smell like goat.

The purpose of the visit to the goat farm is to give students a learning experience of learning in the outdoors. So that they have a track record and learning memories that match their experiences in everyday life. For three days, Budi Utomo Kindergarten students will visit. Starting from Rose, Jasmine and the last is Lavender class.
