Hi friends @Daily Blog community. It is your humble girl @happy080. I am quite excited to be here and to share with you my experience this week as a home couch.
I got settled in, I and my lesson daughter had our casual greetings,she immediately got her books out and was ready for work, I explained the sum i wanted her to solve and she got started.
While she was at it ,I started reasoning on the content to create next.So I decided to share my story on home couching.
Apart from my circular job,at my free time, Kids gather at my place for private tutoring and counseling most of the time.They get to relate what's bothering them at school,their challenges and related issues as well. While the little kids that are not grown enough to express their selves just jump around with my own children,watch fun cartoons,play video games,eat and sleep before their parents eventually comes to pick them up.
But during this seasonal holiday,I went to couch a particular girl at home, she is known by the name "GRACE", she is very adorable and inquisitive too. She asks a lot of questions like me( her teacher @happy080 ) the truth is,I am very inquisitive over something or someone that interests me.Oh yes! I got you there right?😊
Grace does the same thing,the difference is that I am matured with my manner of questions but my lovely Grace asks with the innocency of her heart, sometimes very meaningful questions and most of other times,very silly questions.She does not take it easy with me at all she asks questions after questions.l kept giving answers after answers until she is satisfied.
" Oh! at last she is finally quiet" I exclaimed in my mind looking at her with a muted mouth. As if she heard my silent thoughts,her lips started to move again, this time she stood up to where I was sitted and ...."oh! heaven gracious" she popped out the words while standing in front of me.
" Why don't you ever get angry or get tired of me and my questions"? Grace asked .
" because I must answer them" I replied. Again she asked: "why do you have to answer them?" Again I answered: " If I don't answer them,you wouldn't have more monster questions to ask me,so I needed to answer all of your numerous monster questions so you can understand better while I am teaching you". She was quiet for a moment and then she said: "I love you Mrs Happiness " immediately she hugged me and I reciprocated back saying: " I love you too my darling Grace".
This was her expression after the excitement of assured sense of belongings and well answered questions.
Creating content is sometimes based on inspiration and what is happening around you as at that particular point in time. Although everyone has what appeal to them better,the most important point is to be happy while at it.This is my couching session with Grace
I have this special fond for children even while I was growing up. There little shiny eyes, their small cozy nose , their tiny fingers and feet,their cheerful countenance,thier silly utterances and playful postures all delights me, children just makes me happy.
Their simplicity and geniunity in their innocence teaches me never to hold grudges and to try as much as possible to find happiness and be cheerful even when I don't have a reason to be.
HAPPINESS IS FREE MY FRIENDS.SO STAY HAPPY AND DO THINGS THAT MAKES YOU LAUGH ALOT😂.
I find lots of joy couching and counseling children, helping them academically and also teaching them to stand up for themselves even in the hardest situations.
We do not just learn and learn, sometimes I distract her to help her find her balance again,the purpose of the distractions and fun talks and counseling between learning is to see how well she could actually navigate to find her way back to the sum I gave her to solve,Most of the time she could find her way back to her sum,but few times,she would not,in such situations I would help her find her way back to where she actually stopped.
